Hometown was taken during the first lockdown. I have never shot in my hometown and since I cannot go anywhere else now, if I wanted to continue shooting I will have to shoot there.
I took photos of things I never have. Being a landscape photographer, I look mostly at big landscapes and nature, and focusing on commercial things was a challenge for me. As I was shooting, I realized that I was taking photographs of things that reminded me of my childhood memories. I rolled with the idea and produced images that I was happy and proud of.
