These photos embody what this odd and colourful bodysuit represents. A contrast itself of the meaning and the visuals. This is an interactive piece that counteracts the social boundaries we place upon ourselves, an abstract image exploring the battle we have within ourselves with who we truly are and what we reveal. This style distorts the body and creates a new visual, through something that is wearable yet unpractical.
Within my practice, I focus on the relationship between the audience and my work. I am constantly looking to further and play with the level of interactivity I can achieve through what I create. To overcome boundaries and personal levels of comfort and the norm to create an immersive experience. ‘If you really want me, come on sugar let me know’ is this visual representation of going beyond societal norms through humorous means.
