my hyperrealism portraiture process, inspired by aaron griffin
I created this artwork based around the themes of hyperrealism and portraiture, and what is considered as a hyper-realistic portrait. Because I was trying to achieve a picture-perfect representation of my model, I thought that it would be interesting to show the process of how I created it. As I was working digitally, I was able to take screenshots of the different stages that made up the painting. Artist Aaron Griffin inspired me through his presentation of process, so I chose to present my artwork’s process in a similar way to him, making it a part of my final piece.
