Step 1) Realize you’re unsure of what you’re doing with your life right now.
Step 2) Have an existential crisis. A small one ideally; you don’t want to be stuck in a loophole forever.

Step 3) Decide you’re being an entitled 20-something-year-old and you should be finding a job for the rest of summer.
Step 4) Relax and find said part-time job to keep you motivated in the meantime.

Step 5) If you still feel unhappy, talking to a friend or family member can be helpful. It can help work things out as they may offer suggestions. Especially the doggo.
Step 6) Work for a while towards a self-established goal to keep that motivation going.

Step 7) Think about how lucky you are to be where you are now; a lot of people won’t have what you’ve got right now. So, keep going, you’re doing great.
Step 8) Try and find things you are interested in during your spare time.

Step 9) Become even more interested in these things to the point of unhealthy, manic obsession. Note: this does not include topless, muscular, hairy Steve from next door.
Step 10) Realize that, despite the fact that you’re not where you want to be, it’s a step towards something greater, and above all else, you’re doing just fine.
